The Jourdanton Elementary School hosted the UIL Academic meet for the West Division. The schools that competed in the division were: Cotulla, Dilley, Encinal, Natalia and Jourdanton.
The Jourdanton Elementary students performed well in the meet. The results were:
Storytelling: 1st place Lane Bailey, 3rd place Thomas Netardus, and 4th place Jaylan Camp.
Creative Writing: 1st place Jaylan Camp, 5th place Madilyn Vick.
Storytelling: 4th place Annalise Craig, 5th place Myli Beltran and Best Alternate Jaycee Wheat.
Music Memory: 1st place Chantan Morin, 2nd place Payton Gonzales, 3rd place Kyleigh Capparelli, 4th place Annalise Craig, and 5th place Jack Fournier. The above also place First as a team. Best alternate went to Addysan Early
Spelling: 3rd place Clayton Burch. 2nd place team went to Ty Smoot, Raelynn Zavala and Clayton Burch
Ready Writing: 3rd place Claire Vyvlecka, 4th place Daniece Mueller and Best Alternate went to Colton Schuchart.
Spelling: 6th place Covie Latham. 2nd place team went to Vanessa Vacca, Bart Mulcahy and Covie Latham. Best Alternate went to Samuel Guajardo.
